Our oenologist, Matthieu CARRARA, is in charge of winemaking for Pierre André.
To allow the terroir to express itself fully the winemaking follows the traditional Burgundian methods and operations are minimized. To prevent unnecessary pumping and to respect the integrity of the grapes, the barreling is carried out by gravity in our vaulted cellar.
Our traditional wine making methods are supported by our modern tools. Our winery, equipped with open thermo-regulated vats, is designed on several levels to facilitate the transfer of wine by gravity, an indisputable guarantee of quality.
More than a hundred wines are vinified before being aged on the lees in oak barrels. This maturing time allows the wines to release and develop all their flavors.
