This appellation is located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, on hills overlooking the town of Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy.
The Climat "Champs Pimont" is a large parcel Southwest of Beaune.
Pale gold in colour with green highlights. Aromas of white flowers and citrus, moving towards spicy notes of cinnamon and liquorice with time. The roundness appears on the palate, wide and powerful. The acidity makes it a great white wine with seriousness and accuracy. The finish is very persistent with toasted notes.
Serving temperature : 11-12°C
Ideal with shellfish and seafood gratin or fish and shrimp complemented by a spicy sauce. For meat, perfect with poultry in sauce. Cheeses with a light taste (Camembert, Brie, Blue cheese, Goat cheese, Gruyere...).
Ageing potential : Drink within 5 years.
